Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate are natural components of joint cartilage and synovial fluid. Chondroitin sulfate has a significant ability to bind water within tissues, ensuring proper cartilage function, strength, flexibility, and durability. The mechanism of action of both substances is similar and consists of chondroprotective effects (cartilage protection). Their benefits include regeneration of joint cartilage and tissues, improved mobility, and a significant positive impact on the overall health and condition of the animal.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a natural substance containing organically bound sulfur, which is involved in collagen formation, strengthens ligaments and tendons, and has relaxing and regenerative effects on muscles. MSM helps reduce joint pain and, thanks to its antioxidant and detoxifying properties, assists in the removal of damaged tissue. It is particularly suitable for relieving pain during post-injury and post-surgical recovery, where improved wound healing has also been observed. MSM has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilating, and anti-edematous effects. It is also beneficial for relieving muscle pain, muscle cramps, and tendon discomfort.

Hydrolyzed Collagens Collyss® and Cartidyss®

Collyss® – Type I Collagen of the Highest Quality – is found in heavily stressed structures such as tendons and fibrocartilage. It is highly resistant to tension and is therefore essential for tendon strength and overall support of the musculoskeletal system. Type I collagen is also found in bones and skin. Collyss® is a patented purified collagen hydrolysate obtained from marine fish cartilage.

Cartidyss® – Type II Collagen of the Highest Quality – helps maintain the shape of cartilage and prevents its deformation. Type II collagen is a component of hyaline and elastic cartilage and is resistant to compression. Cartidyss® is a purified collagen hydrolysate obtained from stingray cartilage.

Directions for Use

The powder should be administered daily according to the recommended dosage. It can be mixed into concentrated feed, molasses, or given directly into the horse’s mouth.

Duration of Use

Administer ALAVIS™ TRIPLE BLEND Extra Strong for an optimal period of three months. Then take a break of 1–3 months before starting the product again.
