How to use this dog grooming blade

As this is a stripping knife, it is important to understand that—while it involves "pulling" the hair—the process is painless for the pet. This is because the layers of fur being removed are old and have very shallow roots. To begin the process:

- Hold the handle firmly.
- Move the blade teeth through the coat at a 90° angle to the skin.
- Place your thumb on the convex side of the blade and gently grasp the fur to release it from the roots.
- The blade should move in the direction of hair growth.
- Use the Juno No. 10 if you haven't stripped the coat in a long time and are dealing with a very dense coat and undercoat.
- You can start at the pet's neck, then move to the shoulders, back, ribs, tail, and head. Alternatively, start at the head and work your way back to the tail.
- It is recommended to repeat the process every six to eight weeks.

Benefits of the ergonomic blade

The Juno No. 10 blade offers several advantages and helps manage shedding in dogs that do not naturally shed their coat.

- Helps maintain a healthy coat and skin breathability.
- Suitable for breeds such as Schnauzers, Westies, Fox Terriers, Dachshunds, and mixed breeds.
- Helps preserve the coat's color, shine, and texture while protecting the skin.
- This blade speeds up even the most demanding tasks, saving time by removing large amounts of fur and undercoat in a single stroke. - Highly versatile thanks to medium-depth teeth.
- Made from high-quality materials for greater durability and strength.
