Why do clipper blades get hot?

During clipping, the lower blade (that combs the coat) and upper blade (that goes back and forth to cut the hair) of the clipper blade rub against each other at a very fast rate. This friction of metal on metal (of the two blades) creates heat. The more friction, the more heat is created.

Use instructions

Switch off the clipper and remove the clipper blade from the machine.

Take the attachment piece (in the form of a straw) from the cap, open the spray bottle and attach the straw to the nozzle. Spray directly onto the blades at 2-8 cm.

Do not spray onto the skin and keep out of reach of children.

After clipping, you can also clean the clipper blade with the Show Tech Blade Guard.

Please note that the Instant Ice Blade Spray will not lubricate the clipper blade! It cools the blade instantly but will not oil it. To keep your clipper blade in optimal condition you need the Instant Ice Blade and the Blade Guard.
