Show Tech attachment combs are sold in a set of 9 attachment combs (3mm -6mm -10mm -13mm -16mm -19mm -22mm -25mm -32mm). Optionally, you can purchase these 2 additional Show Tech attachment combs with a length of 38mm and 50mm. It is used on the #30 clipper head to prevent damage to the clipper head and to ensure a smooth and beautiful finish. If you use a #10 clipper head or longer, the finish will not be as smooth. Therefore, we strongly recommend using the #30 clipper head.

Use Instructions

The combs have 2 hooks on the back. Simply snap them onto the back of the clipper head and pull forward. The spring allows you to snap the comb over the clipper head. Thanks to the front bar in the snap-on comb, the side guard and the 2 hooks at the back, the cutting head is now fully secured on all 4 sides and will not break off.

To remove the attachment comb from the blade, gently push it forward until the spring allows the blade to pass through the front bar (do not bend or try to pull).

Always use attachment combs on well-washed, blow-dried and combed hair. They can be used on any curly coat (such as Poodle, Bichon Frise) or silky coat (Maltese, Shih-Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier) and when speed and commercial efficiency are your priority.

Select the desired length of the snap-on comb and use gentle strokes to groom the coat either in the direction of the hair growth or against it. Comb through the coat, repeat this process, then comb through again and trim the coat with scissors to achieve a perfect finish.

The comb can be used with or against the hair growth, depending on the type of coat. This will give you an excellent and sometimes better cut against the hair growth. Keep in mind that cutting against the direction of hair growth can result in a shorter end, so start with a slightly longer attachment comb.

Warning: Never use a #40 or #50 size clipper head with these attachment combs. These types of clipper heads are narrower, which can cause the teeth from the comb to get caught in the blade, breaking the teeth of your blade.
