Instructions for use: Long coat - Brush gently with a light, long stroke, brushing towards the ends of the coat to avoid static damage. For best results, comb through the coat in layers. Start at the bottom by parting the coat horizontally and holding the section up with your free hand. Work methodically upwards, keeping your wrist straight to avoid contact with the dogs skin. Curly coat - comb in the direction of the hair growth and then against it with light, long strokes. Coarse coat - comb in the direction of the hair growth, then remove mats and dead hair as needed. Pay special attention to areas prone to matting, such as behind the ears, on the hips and under the legs. Use a wide-toothed comb to ensure the coat is thoroughly detangled after combing. The Ultra Pro Brush is ideal for use after bathing and when blow-drying. Use light, long strokes with and against the direction of the hair growth. Comb slowly to prevent static build-up. To prevent matting and tangling, your dog's coat should be bathed, conditioned and brushed regularly.
